Chausey II

Property of the company Moulières de Chausey, Chausey II was built by CMV Amphibie in 2008, for the purpose of shellfish fishing in the Chausey islands, off the coast of Saint-Malo.

This fishing vessel can carry up to 10 people, measures 20 m long and 6.5 m wide, with a weight of 29.02 tonnes without load. Thanks to its very sturdy hull, it is able to safely carry a load of up to 25 tonnes in rough seas.
Its main characteristic is its 2 powerful propellers, allowing it to reach a speed of 13 knots. In addition it has a bow thruster that adds to its excellent and very accurate manoeuvrability in narrow conditions.
